We are excited to share that we have recently been awarded our Cyber Essentials Accreditation. Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme that will help protect us from a range of the most common cyber attacks. The Cyber Essentials certification has helped give us a clear picture of Yellow Door’s cyber security level and can help to reassure both our staff and clients that we are working to secure our systems and our data against cyber attack.
As part of the accreditation process, we prepared the Cyber Essentials readiness toolkit. This helped to create an action plan for us about how to meet all of the requirements. We spent the end of last year working through this and the certification shows that we now have the appropriate technical controls in place.
Chloe Gilbert, Head of Evaluation and Systems Development at Yellow Door commented ‘This certification helps to give us peace of mind that the measures we have put in place will protect us against possible cyber attacks. These attacks often look for targets which do not have the basic safety systems in place and so it’s great to know that our systems and processes have been recognised.’
This is great news as we deliver confidential services at Yellow Door.
