Independent Sexual Violence Adviser Services Accredited

Posted on 11 March 2022

We are so pleased to announce the successful Accreditation of our ISVA Service, and our Child and Young People’s ISVA Service by Limeculture.

LimeCulture Community Interest Company (CIC) is a national sexual violence and safeguarding organisation based in the UK.

We work with frontline professionals, and their organisations, to improve the response to victims of sexual violence, through our range of training and professional development initiatives, research and consultancy services. We believe that all victims, regardless of where they live, their age, gender or sexual orientation, should have access to high-quality, safe and effective support services. We work in support of organisations developing and embedding effective safeguarding policies and associated underpinning processes from Board level to entry level.

The Accreditation follows a thorough process of evidence, evaluation and assessment to deliver upon a key set of Quality Standards to ensure the service we are providing is equitable, safe and of a high standard. The Yellow Door ISVA Service has expanded and is the lead service, supporting clients across Hampshire. We are proud of our achievement in reaching the Limeculture Accreditation status, which will go further to ensure that those affected by sexual violence can continue to access local quality, specialist services.

The Accreditation Manager said: “Yellow Door ISVA and Child & Young Person ISVA services have recently achieved accreditation against the Quality Standards for Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) Services. The Accreditation team were very impressed with the dedication and commitment of the Yellow Door team, not just to achieve accreditation but to achieve with flying colours. As part of the process, the team implemented age appropriate documentation and public facing materials for the children and young people accessing their service which is crucial to providing the best possible service to all. The final stage of the accreditation process was very successful and the staff team in particular were exceptional. It was very clear to the Accreditation team that the team at Yellow Door are passionate and dedicated in delivering the highest standard of service.”
