New funding for Yellow Door

Posted on 20 October 2023

We are proud to share that we have been awarded two contracts by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, for the Frankie Worker Service, combined with and all-age Sexual Crime Therapeutic Service in Southampton, Eastleigh and the New Forest. This began on 1 October 2023 with the Police and Crime Commissioner committing funding of up to £4,794,482 over the next five and a half years across the county to a number of service providers.

We will now be the provider of the Frankie Worker Service. You can learn more about the Frankie Worker Service on our website here. We are thrilled to be working on the Sexual Crime Therapeutic Provision along with other agencies, which includes a helpline, therapeutic support, activities for all ages who have experienced sexual abuse/violence.

This funding is so important as it means that we are able to continue supporting local people who have been impacted by sexual abuse. “I felt listened to. Not being talked at but being talked to made a huge difference” (Yellow Door client who accessed therapeutic support).
