Making a lasting difference
Your support can help create a future where people affected by domestic and sexual abuse can get the help they need, when they need it the most.
A significant gift to Yellow Door can help us provide specialist support, reach more people and strengthen our services for the future. It can also give us the flexibility to respond to emerging needs and invest in new ways of supporting people and preventing abuse.
At Yellow Door, we consider donations of more than £3,000 in a single year to be major gifts.
Whether you are considering a one-off donation, a longer-term commitment or giving through a Trust or Donor Advised Fund, we would love to talk to you about the difference you want to make.
Your personal reason to give
Every donor has different reasons for giving. We will take the time to understand what matters to you and explore how your support could make a meaningful difference through Yellow Door.
You might choose to support an area of our work that particularly matters to you, such as:
Supporting adults: Helping people affected by domestic and sexual abuse access specialist support as they move forward with their lives. Support is tailored to each person and could include one to one talking therapy, group work or therapy involving art or time outdoors. You can find out more about our adult services here https://yellowdoor.org.uk/services/adult-therapeutic-services/
Supporting children, young people and families: Helping children, young people and families access support that is right for them and their circumstances. Play therapy and art therapy can help children open up and process trauma, more details can be found here https://yellowdoor.org.uk/support-for-children-and-young-people/
Prevention and education: Supporting work that helps children and young people understand healthy relationships, recognise harmful behaviour and know where to find help.
Investing in our future: Helping Yellow Door remain resilient, develop our services and respond to the changing needs of the communities we support.

A personal relationship with Yellow Door
We believe major giving should be about more than making a donation. We want you to feel connected to the difference your support makes. Depending on how you would like to be involved, we can keep you informed about our work and share updates about the impact of your support.
Most importantly, we will listen to what matters to you and have an open conversation about how your philanthropy and Yellow Door’s work could come together.
Let’s start a conversation
If you’re considering making a significant gift to Yellow Door, we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need to have decided how much you want to give or which area of our work you would like to support. A conversation is a good place to start.
