Bake to fundraise in aid of Yellow Door
Baking isn’t all about the final product, it’s about the fun making it too! Why not celebrate World Baking Day by fundraising for our charity to support local people impacted by domestic and sexual abuse.
You could keep it traditional by baking cakes, bakes or tarts OR mix it up with savoury pizza bites or bread with jams or chutneys.
When: World Baking Day 2027 is on Sunday 16th May. You don’t have to stick to the day itself – feel free to celebrate and fundraise in the days around it.
Who will be involved in baking? If multiple people are baking, it might be an idea to establish a pricing system so similar goods are a similar cost.
Where will you sell your bakes? Get your workplace, society, group, family, friends or neighbourhood together and indulge in some baked joy for a great cause.
How will you fundraise? You could:
• Take cash and donate to Yellow Door after the event.
• Set up your own fundraising page on our platform Give As You Live here and ask people to scan the generated QR code.
• Ask people to donate directly to our World Baking Day campaign here. Download the general QR code here.
Fundraising targets: You don’t need one but having a fundraising target is a great way to encourage those extra top-up donations.
If you’re thinking about fundraising or need support, get in touch at supportus@yellowdoor.org.uk or call us on 02380 636312. We can support you in setting up a Give As You Live fundraising page.
